monyThe opening event was moving in many ways; Bob talking about his very personal journey as a theatre artist, recalling how he met Christopher Knowles, etc. and Suzuki making on the other hand a broad social commentary, expressing the risks for theatre and society in the age of globalization. It was certainly interesting to be sitting between them, two masters who've had such an impact on my life. In many ways, I took it as a sign to receive what they've shared with me, and move forward.
